Buhr park pool is our little hidden gem! Just the right size to keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a good book. It opens in May and the pool is heated, so we can start pool season early!!! This year they also have a snack bar, very reasonably priced and good options, ice cream, popsicles and chips. $2-$5 We can also have pizza delivered there or bring our own food. We always pack a few sandwiches and fruits and we can spend hours there. There is also summer camp there, my boys will be going later this summer, but it is all day long (8:30-5:30) and affordable! There is also roller derby in the summer and ice skating in the winter, so no matter what there is always something to do at Buhr park. Rec and ed also plays baseball there during the week for the summer session.
