We had a lovely time playing pickle ball over the weekend with family and they were plenty of parts available midday in July. There was enough parking on the road, the access to the courts was reasonable. People are friendly. The chords are in decent shape, although looking a little worn at the non,volley zone and the nets were in decent shape.

Okay guys let's get real here. Why is there no stacking system? There's a lady here giving lessons to beginners and they have three courts blocked and OTHER people are waiting around wanting to play... Lmao! You have to pay to reserve outdoor courts?? Huh?! No thanks I'll just go down the street.

Nice spot for pickleball or tennis. The park has four permanent (wheeled) pickleball nets and eight striped courts. Courts are striped in blue over the tennis court lines. Nice court surfacing and not too much competition with tennis players.

Compared to other courts, Bitter Lake is a bummer. Mainly because there's no culture of inclusion, no paddle-stacking system in place to rotate into a court. You pretty much have to come with 2 or 4 players, and it's often already full at peak time, so you may have to wait indefinitely to play. The conditions of the courts and nets are good. But the lights don't seem to work, or aren't turned on at night, which really limits time to play in the evenings. I had fun drilling here on a rainy summer evening, but when the weather is good, I'd go somewhere else in the evening.

The courts look a lot better than what is posted. They have room for pickleball and tennis courts. As a pickleball player, I think the courts are fantastic, with some times being too filled and having to wait 30 min to an hour plus to take a court as long as nobody steals it first. As a TENNIS court, it can be a bit rough. There are times when my friend and I would play and some of the pickleball players gives us weird/dirty looks. Sometimes it feels like some of the pickleball players believe that they OWN these PUBLIC COURTS. I wish they had a way to balance out the pickleball players having two "tennis courts" and the tennis players being able to use the other two.
