Last Friday I had my first ever experience working with clay/throwing at their try the wheel class. Will and Remi are patient, kind, and funny teachers who have a wealth of knowledge in this medium. They did an excellent job facilitating class. I especially appreciate the individual instruction that they gave to each of us. If you are looking to try out ceramics, have absolutely no experience, or if you are looking for a studio to become a regular member at, Bittersweer is a great spot to end up.

I took the "try the wheel" class with my husband. We got to make a few pots on a pottery wheel and learn a bit about pottery. The teachers were extremely knowledgable and friendly. You can show up knowing nothing about pottery: they teach you everything and provide all materials. It was really fun, I highly recommend.

My husband and I took an intro wheel throwing class and it was phenomenal. Will & Remi are knowledgeable, kind, and talented beyond words. The care and thought they put into teaching is truly one of a kind. I can’t recommend this studio enough!

Fantastic first class. Will is a whole vibe, I didn't feel rushed, and my first bowl was a success. Even when my subsequent trys were less successful, Will was available to get me back on track. New throwing fan developed! Looking forward to the relaxing moments next time around.

This was my first time throwing clay. It was a fun experience and everyone was helpful and friendly. I wore some work clothes so that I wasn't concerned about getting clay on them. You throw and shape two items in the "try the wheel" class, choose the color, then come back in a few weeks to pick up the glazed and fired product (shown here).
