We are inundated with requests for reviews nowadays. So I only review someplace if it’s extraordinarily good or extraordinarily bad. This Boars head Café was extraordinarily bad. It was evident from the get go that the crew behind the counter didn’t have a clue of what they were doing. All six of them. I’ll say that again, there were six of them behind the counter to make sandwiches. I heard one person ask another what was supposed to be in my grilled cheese sandwich. Just look up on the board behind you. It lists the ingredients. While time I was there, I saw one lady asked for a refund, and two people were given the wrong orders. When my sandwich came out, it tasted OK because how can you really screw up the grilled cheese sandwich. However the bread was broken and it was not even grilled. One of the two things you really want in a grilled cheese sandwich. I should’ve gone to the Chick-fil-A that’s just a couple stores down. Boars head has always tried to be a brand of quality, but they’re really dropping the ball on this.

She wasn’t outright rude, but there was zero eye contact or warmth the entire time. As for the food? Nearly every sandwich we tried to order was missing ingredients. Out of pesto, out of rye, out of Swiss, out of bacon jam—you name it. Felt like a comedy routine. We ended up subbing in other stuff just to get something made, and while we were glad to eat, it shouldn’t be this hard to get a sandwich. Also, no napkins in sight. For $40+ for two sandwiches, a small bag of chips, and a couple of bottled waters, you’d hope for at least the basics. Hard pass next time.

This is fast food at the Atlanta International Airport. You should lower your expectations for any food establishment at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. This Boar’s Head Café was busy on a Monday morning at 7 AM and was running efficiently. I asked for a croissant with egg. I asked them to remove the cheese. The server was cheerful and happy to help. She actually added additional egg in the absence of the cheese. Nice touch. I got through the line quickly. My order was taken. The coffee tasted well and I was satisfied. If you approach these food establishments in any of the concourses in this airport with low expectations, you won’t be disappointed.

Lune was not long but only one employee was taking orders and fixing food. Ordered a ham egg and cheese croissant it was horrible. Croissant was burnt and basically a burned piece of bread that fell apart when I opened the paper wrap. Not worth the money

I just purchased a hummus platter with carrots, broccoli & celery. The carrots are spoiled and very soft. 😫 I’m in-flight right now so I can’t even go back for exchange or refund. There should be a sell by date on all fresh items.
