One of the best private research institutes in the world, and a great place of work to boot. I'm grateful for the effort they made during the COVID-19 pandemic, both in original research and high throughput diagnostics.

More than terrible place to get tested for PCR test. When I got tested in one of their places, they never sent me the registration email, I just received the result email . I was not able to see my results without registration and when I call them to solve this problems, people answering the phone were the most unhelpful and told me it will take 48 hours for this problem to get fixed (it was their problem not mine). So inconvenient and messy!

A visit of the MIT was a dream of my childhood in the sixties in the GDR/ East Germany. In 2012 we visited the MIT and the Broad Institute together with our daughter and two grandchildren. Thanks for the impressions. Education and science are essential for world openness.
