I am honored to have been a founding member (joined the first year of its inception) of this phenomenal organization. Historically, I have invested my membership and association funds on groups that have a direct connection to what I do for a living. Leaders Excellence is different, suddenly, I was collaborating and communicating with intellectual leaders around the globe. The networking, while great, is just the tip of the iceberg. I have posted several topics to the LinkedIn group and received responses from so many different perspectives. Last year, I was invited to present a webinar to the membership, regarding my leadership transition from law enforcement to the private sector. What a remarkable opportunity to present to an audience all over the world and comprised of thought-leaders. If you meet the criteria, I would encourage taking the opportunity to join. If you want a member’s perspective, I am happy to share my experience.

Leaders Excellence offers professional development and many other learning opportunities for members, along with a more exclusive membership roster which does add a lot of value to the networking opportunities available. I’ve been a member since its inception and find it to be very worthwhile — particularly the monthly podcasts available to members related to organizational and personal growth and the certificate programs. I would recommend Leaders Excellence at Harvard Square to anyone looking to build their network and grow personally and professionally with the help of others who are at the top of their game.

I've been a member of Leaders Excellence for several years now, and have found it to be an extremely helpful source of sustainment training in the arts of management and leadership. I have generally preferred to go through intense focused leadership training to advance my skills (such as an MBA) but keep up with periodic training offered by Leaders Excellence as a way to stay sharp. It also serves as a great networking forum, with plenty of opportunities to meet other like-minded leaders dedicated to improving their own approach to leadership attending and also looking to grow their personal network. As I'm not near Boston, I've only attended virtual events and they've all been great. I do wish I had more free time to get out to some of their in-person events, or perhaps they would establish a local chapter system to facilitate local meetups. Overall I feel it has been a key piece of my overall strategy for improving my leadership skills, and would recommend it to anyone looking for tools to facilitate continuous self-improvement and workshops to help in those efforts.

I participate in monthly discussions on select topics and learn from esteemed thought leaders, professors and academic affiliates. If you qualify and join, you’ll find it very rewarding to be part of such a high class network.
