The show was good until the lady started scream singing . I was so excited for broadway only to get there and have seats the size of Spirt Airlines if not worse . The lady beside me kept kicking scratching and elbowing me . The venue sells 100s of tickets but has 1 1/2 bathrooms to accommodate everyone . The bathroom lines were UNGODLY and the bathroom usher kept yelling at you to hurry up bc the show was about to start.. Mam .. do you see what you are working with?? After the 30 min bathroom wait we decided to not even go back to the second half . We left .. and I was very disappointed of my 1st broadway .

Loved the performance, but my God, the popcorn sounds from the audience for a Broadway show was so distracting. I get that Garrett’s is sold there but keep it to before and intermission and out of theater.

The show was nice but ushers refused to let me in after I used the bathroom. Everyone else was let in after they used the bathroom but I wasn’t. I even offered to sit in farther away to prevent distraction but they refused and I ended missing more than half of the show.

Productions are TOP NOTCH and customer service is wonderful. My only caution is be careful if you're bringing kids as the show ratings don't seem to be in line with what you might expect. A show we attented had several F bombs and was rated for 10 and up and another was rated 12 and up, same issue. Hopefully they'll adjust the ratings a bit so people know what to expect. Other than that, stellar.

I was floored by how bad the gift card process was for Broadway in Chicago. I purchased a gift card as a gift for a relative, assuming I'd receive a code for them to use when purchasing the seats of their choice, for the show and date of their choice. Instead, you have to download a (non-fillable) PDF form and complete it with the requested date, show, time, back up options, seat location preferences, etc, then email it to a person, wait for them to confirm the seats assigned, pay the difference online, wait for the box office to process the order, and then wait for the tickets to be mailed (will call is an option, but didn't want my family having to bother with that on the day). How is it possible that this is the process in 2024? If I had known it would be so convoluted and time intensive, I would have just sent my family the cash to buy the tickets themselves - then they have the luxury to pick the show and the seats themselves as they should. PSA for anyone looking into gifts cards here in the future - I really hope Broadway in Chicago upgrades their process to meet the times!
