Nice day to spend at the sandy, riverside beach. Parking was full, had to circle around a couple of times but found a spot in less than 10 min. Pay $5 for parking. Or one could park on Marine Dr for free but lugging your beach gear with kids, dogs, coolers would be a pain. Easy access from parking lot to beach. Bathrooms on site. I like to watch the sail boats and hear the planes fly overhead.
