I am so in love with this spot. The most perfect place for sunset and picnics. It’s such a chill spot and in such a good part of Portland. The people are so mindful of each other and the grass is just so nice and green. Such a clean spot. Me and my friend went here sometime last week and the sunset was so beautiful. If you are in town and are looking for places to watch the sunset, cathedral park is the spot to go.

What a peaceful park nestled under the St John's bridge, a perfect visit for seeing it from below, with a nice little beach and dock for getting into the Willamette river. There's a nice view of downtown Portland from the water, but not too "urban" feeling. Plenty of benches and a great place for picnics. 5-star cute dog watching opportunities.

It was nice. Stopped for 10 minutes to enjoy the view. I'm from Texas, and we don't have bridges like this.
