Great bar and venue. My husband and I came to see Marcus King. We came early and caught some live music from a talented local musician. Bar staff and door man were friendly and quick! The atmosphere is giving romantic dive bar with great music on a daily! The lounge upstairs was a super cool and a dreamy get away when the crowds got a little much downstairs. They do have a food truck stationed outside on the patio. Didn’t get a chance to get food, but it smelt great! 10/10 recommend if you’re in the Austin area.

Awesome place to see live music. Small and intimate inside with seating options and room to dance. Bar had a good selection of beer and spirits and the bartenders were friendly. Only downside was I ran a tab and when I checked out the tab was for a base amount of $25.00 and not itemized. Probably should have questioned it but figured i had broke even based on what I drank and the fact there was no cover charge.

Always been a fan of Coby’s, I’ve lived in Austin for 16 years and have either dated or been close friends with a lot of folks that play here at C boys. (Formally known as trophies for those of us elder Austinites )I understand that they are a really great venue for musicians as far as pay and care for musicians , not to mention the drinks are superb and the staff is all happy to be there and having a great time. If you have not been, you absolutely have to go!!!!!
