Awesome culinary camp, very well organized from both parent's and camper's perspective. The facilities at ICE in downtown Manhattan are state-of-the-art. My 16yo daughter is an avid baker and she learnt a lot during the week in the baking/pastry track and really enjoyed all the foods (savory and sweet) that everyone cooked for lunch and dinner, and even brought home leftovers. The final Chopped style competition was super fun and well organized, and parents could watch on Zoom and we could see and hear the judges and campers very clearly. My daughter was a day camper as we live in NYC, but I read the communications about their dorms and overnight schedule and it sounds well run. We highly recommend campusNYC!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Not only was this an amazing culinary camp experience, but also a way to experience NYC! Also, the counselors and the director went above and beyond when the airlines delayed and canceled my son's flights back home. They hosted my son at the dorms, fed him, and made sure he got on another flight. They are amazing support system!!! I will be grateful to Troy and Erica and team forever!

My son has gone 2 summers in a row (Pastry) and already plans to return next year. There are real friendships formed, and it's nice that young people who have a real passion and interest in baking can meet each other and bond.

Such a great experience for our budding chef! The guidance from instructors and the feedback from the judges was so helpful!

My daughter LOVED her two weeks with campusNYC! She did the residential program and concentrated in the pastry track. She has participated in other cooking "camps" before but she was always disappointed by how little the students actually did. But not at campusNYC! Here she made so many delicious looking desserts each day and was so proud of the skills she learned. The students do literally everything, from knife skills to frying. She also loved the residential program - she made wonderful friends, enjoyed the nights out in the City and really savored the independence she gained. It's a wonderful program for HS students who have outgrown traditional camp and who still want to do something hands-on and engaging.
