Great experience was reminiscent of Epcot food festival. We grabbed food from a few places to try. The empanada was hands down the best spot we tried. It’s no wonder they sell out of certain empanadas quickly tamale is a good portion but could us some seasoning. Shrimp dumplings were alright but came apart quickly when trying to eat it. Bao bun had good flavor. Macarons were ok. Probably skip it for other dessert. Would have loved to try others but we were so full.

While it’s true that many European markets have food stalls from around the world, at best this is a food court with French inspired decorations. Having been all over Europe, I’m disappointed by the offerings here because it’s such a great concept and would probably thrive if executed correctly. As I sit here, the French market has a few food stalls (Australian empanadas, tacos, Korean food, and a burger stand that markets itself as a “Belgian bar”. If you’re looking for a French experience in Chicago this isn’t it. I guess I’ll be chasing that Eurotrip high for a bit longer.

The workers are nice and the atmosphere is pretty but there wasn’t a singular French food stall besides 1 pastry store. The rest were run of the mill poke places and sushi joints. The rest were all closed. The place is really just a glorified food court with fancy French decor

Nice place to catch your breath, refresh, get something to eat and drink. A LOT of good choices, something for everyone. If the popup restos don't catch your fancy there's a small bodega (what they're called in NYC, not sure what they're called here) section "up front" when you get off trains. That section has chips, fruits, flowers, juices, gum. They have chairs and tables inside and outside, whichever suits you. Not sure I saw grocery store sushi! But there's at least 2 spaces available for vendors. Maybe there'll be a sushi place next time 😁
