Carkeek park has amazing viewing spots to watch the chum salmon (and some coho!) run up stream. We saw tons in mid November. The kids couldn't get enough.

Went on a nice hike through Carkeek (highly recommend taking the trails although you can also drive to see the salmon for better accessibility) on November 4th at 3pm and saw around 10 salmon, many of which were actively jumping upstream! It was an awesome sight to see. Probably the best spot was right underneath the road to the beach where the tunnel is. Sit there for a while and you can easily see a few salmon flop by. Very cool to watch!
