I I recently visited Cielo Rooftop Lounge in San Diego for brunch, and I was excited to try out this spot after finding it on Google Maps—it looked pretty awesome! I really wanted to try their food. When my friends and I arrived, the host, Cici informed us that there would be a wait of 45 minutes to an hour for a table. After an hour had passed, we decided to check in with her again, only to be told that there was still a wait of another 20 to 30 minutes. We patiently waited an additional 30 minutes and returned for a second update, at which point she bluntly stated that there were no tables available at that time due to incoming reservations. In the meantime, we ordered the bottomless mimosas for $20 per person, which were delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with great music that added to the overall experience. While the host could have done a better job managing expectations regarding the wait times, I still recommend Cielo Rooftop Lounge if you’re in San Diego and looking for a vibrant rooftop spot with fantastic music and a lively atmosphere. Just be prepared for potential wait times! I’m reading three stars based on my experience and I hope this issue is fixed in the future! Thanks management.

Came here to celebrate and as soon as me and my party walked in the entrance was dirty, smelled like pee, and looked like it was abandoned. Before we went to the rooftop we stopped by the bathroom and it was a mess and everything was either broken, clogged, or there was no toilet paper. As soon as we were sat at our table it was dirty and sticky. Our waitress took 30 mins to come to our table for drinks and food. Not only that but she also forgot a person from our party food so she had to wait another extra 20-30 mins. As for our food, it was insulting! It was dry, unseasoned, and greasy. Overall I do not recommend coming here this place.

Lounge has a very long wait time. When i asked manager for our waitress after 15-20 minutes he kinda brushed me off and never answered the question. The booth we where in the sun was blazing on us and pretty much everyone was in the shade and had a umbrella, he gave the table behind us a umbrella and they where literally in the shade. Thats funny to me. The waitress finally brings us one after another 20 minutes. Mimosas wher watered down. I ordered the skillet and the potatoes are very greasy,eggs not seasoned and bacon was ok. Pancakes was the best thing at the table just sad. It took us Overall a hour n 30 minutes to get our food. We got there at 12:30 so u do the math. This left a bitter taste in my mouth for sure. I would never come back here again!!!

Tried this place for the first time on a Saturday. For the entire time there wasn’t really many customer there. Which wasn’t really the issue, it was more or less the windy atmosphere and the overhead fixtures that keep coming a loose and making lots of noise. HOWEVER!! The experience was definitely made by the wonderful customer service we got. The servers were really friendly and fun. They would be the reason I would come back! The food was tasty and their deals are great! Would recommend this place for a sunny brunch day.

DO NOT GO. Just returned from my 11:30 am brunch and the service was absolutely terrible. My friend and I had a reservation for their love island event. We waited an entire hour to order our food after asking twice for assistance and to be helped. Got our own water and drinks I should have a paycheck for just being there at this rate. After complaining to the manager, he seemed very annoyed that I even brought anything up and didn’t understand how unacceptable not even getting a glass of water within the hour or helped was. He gave me the laziest excuse in the world that one of their servers came in late, but that’s his responsibility as a manager to pick up the slack which he definitely did not for my table or other tables there as well. He offered us two of the tiniest shots I’ve ever seen to make up for the fact that we waited an hour just to order food and then waited another 45 minutes to receive our food. When the food came, my order was wrong and wasn’t notified ingredients that were supposed to be in the meal were no longer available or missing. The poor hostess was taking care of everything from seating people, checking on us, to attending other tables and I’m sure much more. One of the servers helping nearby tables kept staring at us the entire time and would just walk away instead of coming over to make sure we were taken care of. We even asked her for her attention, and she told us one second and never attended to us. I would not recommend coming here to eat at all or if you do, you should be the first people there so you’re able to get correct service.
