Stop scrolling and reading endless reviews—just book your next adventure with Colorado Mountain School! I’ve been lucky enough to go on several unforgettable trips with CMS, including multiple avalanche courses over the years. Most recently, I had the chance to join a hut trip led by Jason Antin and Buster Jesik, and it was an incredible experience. Both Jason and Buster are not only highly skilled instructors but also natural leaders who bring energy, humor, and a deep respect for the mountains to everything they do. They foster a super welcoming learning environment, where everyone feels supported and engaged every step of the way. You leave not just with more knowledge, but with way more confidence in your decision-making and backcountry skills.

Just completed my first guided outdoor climbing experience ever with Jason Antin (our guide), and all I can say is 'WOW'. I was completely blown away.. What an experience!! Jason was awesome! He explained everything, providing expert guidance throughout our climb of the 3rd Flatiron. I had never done any technical outdoor climbs before, all indoor, but living in Boulder, I felt this was a must. I was a little nervous at first, but I never felt unsafe, and the more we climbed, the easier it all felt. The summit? Spectacular! I can never look at the Flatirons again the same way. Repelling off the back was just as fun. Again, never done it before, but Jason walked us through it all and made it seem so easy. Yeh, I got the bug, and I can't wait to do it again! If you've been thinking about it.. if it's been on your mind.. don't wait anymore. DO IT! You will thank yourself you did.

This trip to Berner Oberland (Swiss Alps) was an epic adventure. The terrain was big and beautiful and Jason Antin was an amazing mountain guide and leader. He sets the standard his planning, logistics, team support and guiding the team through this epic terrain. Hard to convey the spirit of the swiss alps, terrain, huts, and laughs/team chemistry in words. You must go for it!

I had an absolute blast of a day learning / refreshing skills for the upcoming 2025 PNW glacier climbing season with Jason Antin. Jason did an awesome job picking up on the various skill levels of our group and tailoring instruction accordingly (not an easy task avoiding simply teaching to the lowest common denominator). We entered the custom day with the objective of exposing our team to as much material as possible and Jason absolutely nailed it! This was my first time using CMS and they have me hooked to return not only for additional instruction but for the variety of trips and access to IFMGA guides they offer.

If you have an opportunity to go out in the backcountry with Jason Antin or Buster Jessik, I cannot reccomend these two fantastic guides enough! They are highly skilled, encouraging, and a blast to hangout with. Thank you Jason + Buster!!
