Ordered 2 plain waffles, and tipped as well. As I ate I found that the waffle had plastic in it. Initially I thought it's just burnt pieces of the batter on the side of the waffle but as I looked closer there turned out to be a big piece of plastic with small pieces throughout the waffle. You can obviously see them. So I told them that there's plastic in it, the server apologized and said she'll make another one. Me and my gf waited and when it was ready I got them from the counter just to find out that there's still plastic in them. These pictures are the waffle made the second time. You can see there's still clearly plastic inside of it. I was surprised she didn't notice the black specks so i just tossed them and left. Pretty disappointing. Plastic inside waffle is no joke.

A pretty cool boba tea shop located in Capitol Hill area. We stopped by to pick up a couple of drinks. I had the lychee oolong tea with aloe Vera and Basil seeds. It was very refreshing and thirst quenching. The place was pretty busy in the afternoon, but service was pretty quick. I would come here again.

A good friend told me about this new boba spot in Capitol Hill, so I had to try it while I was in the neighborhood. I went with their #1 drink, the classic milk tea, and since I’m a taro lover, I had to get the taro flavor too. The classic milk tea was really good and flavorful. As for the taro, very solid, they even include chunks of taro, which is a nice touch if you’re into that. The whole place is aesthetically pleasing, with a cool vibe. Just a heads-up: since it’s in Capitol Hill, street parking is limited.

EDIT: Changing my rating. The store reached out and refunded the drinks in addition to giving a couple of drinks on the house for my next visit. Really great response and very friendly when resolving this. Will continue visiting after this mix-up. I stop by this place all the time and usually have a good experience. But this last time I got drinks for pickup and brought them home. One of them had a big piece of plastic in it that got sucked up through the straw. That's pretty dangerous and luckily we noticed it. I would have contacted the store directly to resolve this but they are not easy to contact. They don't answer the phone or are easily reachable through social media. I cannot find an email address either. I'm hoping they respond to this. I don't feel right having paid for a 7 dollar drink with plastic in it.
