We loved our winter wedding at the Commercial Club and received so many compliments on the venue and overall experience from guests! The ballroom is the real jewel of this venue and though amazing on it’s own was so fun to bring to life even more with florals and decor! Compared to other venues we entertained I feel the cost to value was fair on the base level but did add up as we needed more hours than the base price package offers. Having the venue from morning until midnight was perfect for our wedding and I very much appreciated the flexibility from the ownership and coordinator in considering this in pricing. The reasons I would not give the venue 5 stars is for the following reasons: 1)Some of the furniture and finishes in the rooms outside of the ballroom feel dated and out of style. 2) I would say it’s a requirement to have a wedding planner if you’re having a traditional(somewhat large) wedding as you’re coordinating several vendors(florist, catering, photographer, etc.) for this venue. The venues communication was not organized or detailed and having a wedding planner let me relax and enjoy the day. Despite the few areas of feedback I would work with this venue again and appreciate everything the CC team did to make our day so special!

The Commercial Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. It's located downtown, just a 13-minute Uber ride from the airport, and allowed us to book a hotel block close enough that we didn’t have to pay for transportation. It also has the most gorgeous ballroom I've ever seen, a spacious bridal suite, and even a children's room—everything we needed to create a memorable day that met the needs of our wedding party and guests. The first reaction of countless guests, wedding party members, and family was, "Wow, this is beautiful." It’s truly an impressive space. I am a planner by profession, so staying in touch with vendors was extremely important to me. Jai, our coordinator, was always responsive, even at odd hours, and made sure we had multiple chances to walk through the venue with our other vendors. The venue has so many great amenities for catering, DJs, and photographers, and they loved the space as much as we did. There’s also a parking garage right across the street, which made things so much easier for our guests. Jai KNOWS weddings. Her endless knowledge and helpfulness throughout the planning process made everything feel as stress-free as possible (considering we were planning a wedding!). I was never concerned about issues popping up at the venue. The pricing was also very transparent and reasonable. The photo opportunities alone are worth it, and we worked hard to keep things budget-friendly. Speaking of which, the natural beauty of the venue allowed us to keep décor minimal, saving us so much money. The venue itself is stunning, with dimmable chandeliers, sky-high hand-painted ceilings, and intricate wall molding that created the perfectly beautiful, timeless atmosphere I wanted. The service was excellent, and there were plenty of spaces for guests to mingle and enjoy the event. I am so happy and proud that we chose The Commercial Club—it truly made our wedding day unforgettable. I hope I have the opportunity to attend a wedding there someday! We're still waiting for all of our professional photos, but even these candids taken at the venue are gorgeous!

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Commercial Club on June 1st of this year. We couldn't have been more pleased with the way the evening turned out. The space is exquisite, and feels grand while maintaining a sense of intimacy. We received compliment after compliment from our guests. The organization of the many moving parts was handled professionally, quickly, and with great friendliness by the management. We are immensely happy to have had the opportunity to enjoy one of the most important days of our life together at the Commercial Club.

Do Not Use This. They are contract breakers, schemers, and flat out rude. I have been to many wedding venues and been a part of helping the bride and groom and this place is by far the worst. Ex 1: in the contract, it says setup is at 1:00. But when we checked in with management to confirm they said it wasn’t until 3:00 and it would cost another $700 to come that early. We have family who are lawyers and we told them if there was any resistance to us showing up at 1 e wouldn’t hesitate to hold them to the contract. If you read other reviews this is a common occurrence. 2: management is extremely rude and degrading. 3: very few of the outlets work in the building. There were only a few that worked in the main ballroom. 4: kids room and general back area was dirty, not vacuumed, and remnants of other parties. 5: management is extremely slow on response time, averaging 3-5 days for a response. 6: lots of exposed wires and ventilation.
