A beautiful spot for a film or performance. The little snack shop is helpful, and the facilities are clean and comfortable.

Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center is an absolute disgrace. If you are thinking about bringing your family here, do yourself a favor and stay far away. They make it very clear that babies, parents, and common sense are not welcome. At my 5-year-old’s ballet performance, I arrived with a sleeping infant in a car seat. Any normal venue hosting a children’s event would show basic human decency. Not Rose Wagner. Their staff, oozing smugness, refused to allow a stroller or even the car seat inside. When I pointed out that wheelchairs are allowed and asked them to explain the difference, they gave a pathetic answer: “It doesn’t matter.” Translation: they are too lazy, too heartless, or too stupid to bother thinking it through. It is laughable that this place pretends to serve the “community” when in reality they enforce their asinine rules with the grace and tact of airport security agents on a power trip. They cannot even tell the difference between mobility needs and a sleeping newborn who poses zero disruption. They would rather stick to their brain-dead rules than lift a single finger to accommodate families who are literally there to support the arts. The staff were rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in problem-solving. Their attitude made it obvious that families are seen as an inconvenience to be managed, not as guests to be welcomed. Meanwhile, they parade themselves around like they are running some high-class cultural institution, when in reality they are barely competent to run a shopping mall food court. I will never set foot in this joke of a venue again. If you value your dignity, your family, or even just basic human decency, you should not either. Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center is a miserable, hollow excuse for a community space, run by people who would rather flex their tiny scraps of authority than exercise a single ounce of compassion or common sense.

We decided last minute to catch a performance by Ballet West and we were so glad we did. The theater is so beautiful and the staff was so helpful. The performance by Ballet West was outstanding and we were blown away by the level of talent here in Salt Lake City.

Lovely venue. Theater is small enough that every seat would be lovely to watch a show. I filmed a show for JAKS theater company and had a wonderful experience with this place. Great location. Park was super easy just across the street. Beautiful theater and large stage. Love this place.
