I’m only giving four stars because there was some trash around like a twisted tea can, and some cups. But overall, this playground is meant for kids 5 and up. They do have a smaller playground for the toddlers, but I didn’t find it all that exciting. In my opinion, it’s a really bland playground, and could use way more slides. Definitely plenty of Pokémon to catch here. We did not visit the pool but I did notice there’s plenty of space to run around, play sports of any sort.

We played for the first time at this park. We joined a kickball league. The park is nice for a downtown park. It is kind of hooded at night with just the right amount of sprinkled crackheads. For the most part, it felt safe and was well maintained.

Coronado Park is a decent neighborhood spot, but it could use a bit of a facelift. The playground equipment feels a little old, and the grass isn’t always in the best shape. It’s fine for a quick visit if you live nearby, but not really worth a special trip especially with how little shade there is in the heat. On the bright side, tennis court upgrades are happening, and the surrounding neighborhood has a great community vibe.

I love the neighbors and their enthusiasm about their neighborhood. We went to the Coronado neighborhood historic home tour and really enjoyed ourselves. They did a great job organizing and creating a nice event. The park itself needs some love. It looks pretty run down. However, it is February and the summer grass hasn't come back yet, so I am keeping that in mind.
