They wouldn't let me swim in the river because a "class" was going on and I was gonna "bother" the students but I've just been so lonely since my wife left me.

My son attended this camp summer of 2018 - I found it to be superbly organized. It was hands down the best summer experience my son has had. It had just the right balance between instruction and fun. My son who reluctantly signed up for the course came home positive and happy every single day. He's developed a love for sailing which can be credited to Coach Bern and his superbly trained team. This camp delivers what it promises and I only wish there were more camps like it.

My son had a wonderful summer camp in the summer. Coach Bern and his assistants were very experienced and nice. They offered a lot of time to let kids to practice and play. My son had a great time. The highlight was the last afternoon of the program when the kids sailed with their family. My son definitely wanted to do it again! Parking was a bit problematic. Bette to drop kids earlier or reserve ample time to find a parking spot in the neighborhood. Wish they offer year-long programs, say during weekends.

Top-notch camp -- I highly recommend this camp to all. My son attended the camp without any prior knowledge of sailing, and came home each day more and more excited. He was in the water every day, and told tales of sailing with his friends right away in the boats, under the close supervision of Coach Bern. Coach Bern is an accomplished sailor in his own right, but more importantly, an excellent teacher. He is able to get through to the kids with his sense of humor, and inspire them with his technical knowledge. The location is picturesque, and the camp graciously provides photos of your children sailing along the Charles that you can easily share with your friends and family. Given the small-size of the camp, your budding sailor will learn an amazing amount for the time that they are there. The Academy also runs high school clinics for more experienced students. You will not be sorry sending your children here!
