Great expansive park. Has a calisthenics fitness park, a volleyball/badminton net on hard court, and plenty of grass and paths. There are too many gophers but that’s being addressed. I left my water bottle here one day and found it the next day on a bench! Plenty of bathrooms and parking. Not too crowded

My favorite park! An off-leash park for dogs, too. What a great place to walk on a sunny or rainy day, with lots of hundred-year-old trees for protection. One lap around the perimeter of the park is about two miles, at least if you take some of the side paths for extra protection from the elements. You may not find parking as close as you'd like, but there is always plenty to go around. There is a volleyball court and a dedicated picnic area with grills, and both are side-by-side within walking distance of one of the bathrooms, too. I just discovered there's an outdoor patio area perfect for reading, in between the tennis courts and the parking lot. 😁

This is quite the park here in Mountain View! Lots of space to take a stroll and enjoy the scenery. There is an area with picnic tables and what seems to be grills for your barbecuing needs. There is a playground and tennis courts as well. Nice little park. 👍😎

Cuesta Park is easily one of my favorite spots in Mountain View. Whether you’re out for a walk, meeting friends, or just want some time outdoors, this park really has it all. I come here pretty often, and every time I notice something new to appreciate. The walking paths are wide, shaded, and perfect for a morning stroll or jog. There’s a ton of open grassy space that’s great for picnics or tossing a frisbee around. One of the things I really like is the variety of activity areas—there’s a fitness zone with calisthenics equipment, tennis courts, volleyball nets, and even a small hard court for badminton. It’s rare to find that many options in one park. The playground is great for kids, and I’ve noticed a lot of families hanging out there, especially on weekends. There’s also a dog park nearby, and it’s always fun to see dogs running around while their owners chat. The bathrooms are clean and there’s plenty of parking, which makes it a super convenient place to visit, even if you’re coming from outside the neighborhood. One small thing—there are a lot of gopher holes in the grassy areas, so just watch your step. But it looks like they’re trying to manage it. Funny story: I accidentally left my water bottle on a bench once, and when I came back the next day, it was still there. That kind of sums up the vibe of this place—relaxed, respectful, and safe. Overall, Cuesta Park is a peaceful, well-kept community space that’s great for all ages. Whether you want to work out, walk your dog, or just enjoy some sunshine, it’s a perfect local escape.
