I had a wonderful time diving with Forrest. He accommodated me on short notice when another dive charter cancelled, and it worked out for the best. Forrest didn’t have a charter scheduled the day I was looking to dive, but instead he was participating in a cleanup in part of the lake alongside the county and other dive shops. It felt great being part of a community event, even as someone not from the area I felt immediately welcomed. I would recommend both his shop who helped take care of me with a quick gear rental and his dive boat to anyone looking to get out in the water in the hot Arizona sun! I’ll definitely be back.

Brand new diver, so I was very nervous. Before booking I sent an email with a lot of questions. Captain Packebush asked me to call. We talked for nearly an hour. His honest answers and calm demeanor made me confident in booking my dive. Then when I got to the boat, I was not disappointed. The crew was fun and friendly, but also incredibly knowledgeable. Their love for the sport and earnest desire to help others love it was very clear. And the repeat customers were also very helpful. It's clear that a great ecosystem has developed that supports new divers, keeps everyone safe, and makes divers of all skill and ability levels welcome. I believe this is a direct reflection on the Captain. Would highly recommend Cyborg Pirate and a dive trip on the Diver Down. I can't wait to go again.
