I’m SO lucky to have Dance Conservatory near me in South Seattle. The environment is the best for starting off my Saturday with an uplifting and appropriately challenging ballet class with nothing but support and camaraderie! A space of no judgment, I feel mentally and physically supported by Josh and Chris. I’m looking forward to exploring the performance options for adults in the future!

I love what Chris and Josh have built with this dance studio. It is so much more than the facility that enables students of all ages and abilities to dance in -- it's the enriching and supportive community that has grown out of this special space. This was our daughter's third dance studio, and we started in the early post-COVID time. I could tell from the very first class that she felt comfortable with Ms. Sierra, and also really felt at ease with the other kids. The environment is engaging, safe, encouraging, supportive, and so welcoming. There is a gentleness of Ms. Sierra that was such a great fit for our shy kiddo, who wanted to dance, but was so fearful of performing. Ms. Sierra has been instrumental to opening our dancer's mind to trying new things, pushing herself, and becoming so confident with her dancing. Everyone here is just lovely, including all the friends and families who are supporting the dancers through their dance journeys. After several years of watching our daughter grow and deepen her love for dance, I was also inspired to start taking classes. For the first time in my life, I started taking Adult Ballet classes, and it's been such a wonderful outlet for me to be a part of. I highly recommend Dance Conservatory Seattle. It truly is a gem in the dance community of our region.

Josh and Chris are the most amazing, dedicated teachers for all ages! They provide a safe and welcoming environment that encourages dancers to achieve technique, artistry, and the joy to dance. The 1 and 1/2 hour adult ballet classes are the best of the best and so worth driving from Olympia to get to class! Sierra is also a magnificent teacher and lovely person. I would encourage any parent to send their children to DCS for ballet training. They will grow into dedicated and compassionate humans.

I’ve been dancing all my life and since Covid have struggled to find a dance school that offered true intermediate/advanced classes for adults. Their classes are fun, upbeat, and challenging. Josh, Chris, and Sierra are a wonderful group of people who have created a space for new and returning dancers of all ages to come together and practice their art. Thank you for creating Dance Conservatory Seattle!
