I’ve been a student for 3 years, I had always an interest but I finally decided to start at my big old age. The beginners class is a good introduction to folklorico. It’s not crazy difficult but it’s challenging enough. Maestra Patricia is a great instructor and if you show up to class and practice, you can progress at a nice pace. The classes cover technical and artistic skill. The steps are broken down and Patricia is encouraging and fosters a positive environment. Overall, I highly recommend DanzArts. Don’t be intimidated if you’ve never danced. I honestly wouldn’t have believed 3 years ago that I would stick with it and be a semi decent dancer.
