My two daughters love attending classes at Rap A Tap. The instructors are all great with the kids and Mrs Summer puts on amazing recitals that really showcase the students progress. We are looking forward to experiencing camp at Rap A Tap this summer. No doubt my girls will love it as much as they love their tap/hip hop classes!

We joined Rap a Tap during the pandemic as they had gotten creative in finding ways to allow the kids to participate in dance classes in a safe way! It was awesome to be able to have the kids still do some fun activities when there wasn’t much you could do! I really appreciated how they navigated things always keeping safety the first priority. My daughter has taken various classes and has really enjoyed each class, each of her teachers/instructors has been fantastic! We love being part of the Rap a Tap family! They also offer amazing summer camps for the kids!

We've been to multiple dance studios in the area over the years and can honestly say, Rap a Tap is absolutely the best. You may know what I mean... the studios that shut out parents, are disorganized and chaotic, are just babysitting with minimal dance instruction, and/or are too harsh. We're done with all of that now that we found Rap a Tap. I highly recommend them and have even brought a couple of friends to join the studio. My daughter has grown so much in her dance skills, confidence and performing abilities. The teachers are warm, welcoming and fun, and they are real dancers and dance lovers who share that passion with their students. They work to develop the students technique at all levels and have been awesome about positively encouraging my girl. The studio owner, Ms. Summer, has great positive energy which shines through her dancing and teaching and is reflected in all of the staff. I've heard she is also a professional teacher, which makes sense when you see how great she is with the students. She is also very hands-on with the studio to make sure communication with families is clear and everything runs smoothly. Recitals/performances and rehearsals are well organized and fun. No pressure at all on performing, wearing skimpy costumes or heavy makeup. Very welcoming to all abilities. If you have a child that loves dancing and you want them to grow in a positive environment, this is the place for you.

We have been attending classes at Rap a Tap Center for the Arts for almost 3 years now! The teachers are amazing, patient and good with the kids. The atmosphere is friendly - not competitive - but my daughter learns a lot not only from the teachers but the older kids who dance with the company. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, happy place for their kids to dance! We love the new location too!
