Mountain Bikers' paradise. Hiking trails as well. Beautiful views from the higher elevations. There's a beautiful lake nestled in it. It's on private property but the owner has kept it accessible. I enjoy hiking there. Not good for kids less than 10 years old. You will find some horse poop along the trails since horsed go here. Sandstone base is visible near the lake. The path around the lake is not fully cleared so I would discourage trying to do full circle around the lake unless you are in a group. You will find stones stacked on top on each other by hikers - funny to see. Add your stone without toppling the stack 😊

This is an incredibly fun mountain bike trail that weaves through a canopy of gnarly trees. Fun turns and the tree trunks keep you on your toes. I got too excited on my last lap through there and had a close encounter with one. The shade is a nice relief from the other exposed trails in the area. Way more crowded on the weekend, so keep an eye out when cruising downhill.
