I’m giving this place five stars based solely on my observations from the outside. On August 1, 2025, I attempted to enter the club, but a gatekeeper stopped me and asked me what I was doing there. I explained that I had recently moved into the Cherry Creek neighborhood and was curious about joining the Denver Country Club. However, he informed me that membership is by invitation only, and unfortunately, I didn’t have an invitation. Consequently, I couldn’t provide a comprehensive Google Maps review. Nevertheless, the exterior of the club appears inviting, and I hope to return one day with an invitation.

Events at the Denver County Club are always top notch! The servers are a great team and the manager has a lot of experience. Food is delicious! They make the best bread, and desserts are always so good. I love the Powder Room (rest room) because it has a full living room, decorations are always on point and super elegant.

They have amazing food on their menu. The rooms inside are decorated very nicely and the grounds are impeccably cared for all year round. The design on the decorations (esp, Halloween and Christmas) is quite impressive! The staff are incredibly helpful in the day to day. I was particularly impressed during their organizing and event planning for members and guests. Very professional! ❤️

Nothing says aristocracy like owning a part of a publicly owned River. I commute on the Cherry Creek trail every single day nearly, And anytime I'm going in this direction I have to go around your stupid club. I understand that a golf course like any sporting field needs to have its space respected and enforced. But I feel it is exceptionally unfair that the wealthy of us are allowed to own a section of it to play a game that most of us can't even afford to learn. That being said, I'm not going to encourage people not to sign up. I'll just remind them that being a part of a country club basically is announcing that you don't care about poor people and you want to avoid them as much as possible. The exclusivity of your club is the exact kind of thing that breeds narrow-minded, Self-Centered, isolated monsters. And willingly joining a society like this in order to make connections with other broken people is really what the internet is for. And honestly, it's more anonymous so probably safer considering current events.

What should groups know about etiquette and the dress code at Denver Country Club?

To fully enjoy the luxury and atmosphere of Denver Country Club, groups planning to gather should familiarize themselves with the club’s carefully maintained standards of etiquette and dress. The club promotes a casual but conservative and tasteful dress code across its social and dining activities. Club casual attire is encouraged, which means no blue jeans, t-shirts with slogans, tank tops, cargo shorts or exceptionally short skirts; bare feet are also inappropriate in public spaces. For dining events, especially in main dining rooms and terraces, dressy casual is the norm—men typically wear dress trousers with collared shirts or turtlenecks and often coats for traditional club events, while women opt for skirts, dresses, or tailored pantsuits. Specialty activities have specific attire: for croquet and lawn bowling, white or similarly appropriate attire is recommended, along with flat-soled shoes; skating dress code permits denim only within the skatehouse during skating season, prohibiting baggy cargo pants or shorts. These guidelines help maintain the club’s distinguished atmosphere and ensure all guests feel comfortable and respected. Moreover, electronic devices must be used discreetly to avoid disturbing others’ enjoyment, and business-like accessories such as briefcases are reserved for private rooms, underscoring the club’s social rather than commercial environment.
