Booked this months ago due to great reviews. Thought we'd have a great room with a mountain view. $970 for 3 nights is a lot for us. On arrival Cher was fabulous and made us feel welcome. Very good start. Our room did not have the mountain view we had paid for but it was spacious and adequate. Great shower. Cher had a mini fridge delivered on our request although we think this should be standard at that price. There is no restaurant and we asked if we could eat and drink our own stuff in the lobby. As others have mentioned in reviews, it is a bit like an expensive student digs. The bar prices are typically high and so we did buy some beer in the excellent nearby supermarket and some food. We are a quiet couple and keep ourselves to ourselves, so we were upset to be politely advised by the hotel manager on our second day that we were not allowed to drink our own alcohol in the foyer. To be fair, we should have been more subtle in hiding it but it did sour our experience. On a good note though, we were very pleased to be granted a 4pm free checkout time which made our connection to a late Amtrak train much more bearable. That was worth more to us than the lack of mountain view.

Great location and very comfortable beds. Not a fan of their sexual innuendo signage: “tap that” in elevator and sexy bedtime story on phone. Only chose Moxy because Marriott was so expensive but clearly it’s not designed for my demographic. Housekeeping only every other night which didn’t help me for a 2-night stay. Bathroom lighting too dim and don’t understand point of opaque glass in shower. It only serves to throw light on person sleeping if someone uses bathroom in the night.

I picked the Moxy for its location and it didn't disappoint. I was walking out of the hotel on my way to Washington park to rent bikes when I noticed they had two bikes in front of the hotel that someone had just got done using. I asked the valet if I could use the bikes and he said yes and pumped up the tires for me. I was able to get a 40 mile bike ride along the cherry creek trail which is literally across the street from the hotel. I really got to explore down town Denver and was able to ride all the way to the cherry creek reservoir and not have to rush to return the bikes. I'm beyond grateful they had bikes for me to use. The hotel has a great vibe with plenty of room to chill and numerous activities to just relax. The stash on the second floor was also a nice touch. The hotel is very close to downtown which give you access to everything and there is a whole foods across the street, what more could I ask for! The staff was really helpful and friendly and just made the whole stay alot of fun. I will be back!

Hotel is nothing more than a youth hostel. No kitchen, food is placed in a convection oven, no room service, 2 of 3 treadmills broken, no in room coffee maker, no in room refrigerator but Erica had one sent to my room, community ironing board and my favorite, an ice bucket in the bathroom inches from the toilet. Staff is beyond lovely and the very best part of this hotel (bartender Erica is a wealth of knowledge about the area and so friendly and Colby working the front desk is very sweet, acknowledging you with the greatest smile and a welcome back each time he sees you) 3 stars for location as Whole Foods and Hillstone Restaurant are down street. Room is the size of a walk in closet although you don't get a closet, just hooks on the wall. Extremely disappointing for a Marriott property.

I recently stayed at Moxy Washington, DC Downtown, and while the property itself was clean and well-maintained, my overall experience was disappointing due to the service. I requested a blanket twice, but it never arrived, which was frustrating. While I appreciated the early check-in, I expected better service, especially coming from a hospitality background. The lack of attentiveness from the staff affected my stay, and I didn’t have the best experience. If you’re looking for a clean and modern space, this hotel might still be a good option, but don’t expect top-notch service. There’s definitely room for improvement in guest experience and responsiveness.
