I had very high hopes for this place, as the reviews I had seen were pretty decent. I was prepared for a wait due to the fact that it is right across the street from American Airlines. I came in and was not greeted appropriately with a "hi welcome in " or " we will be right with you" or even greeted by a host. Instead it was just standing around and waiting to be acknowledged by someone. This was a major let down especially since multiple staff members walked by and noticed the abundance of people at the door. We were seated and waited for 15 minutes before we decided to leave. Multiple staff members again, walked by without acknowledgment, including someone who looked to be a part of management. As a person who works in the service industry, I recognize and understand the overwhelming feeling a place and staff can have while being busy. This is no excuse for being unseen and overlooked by numerous people. That being said I also understand the need to greet customers and how important just a simple " I will be right with you" is. Because of this, I will probably not be back. I wanted to give it a try because everything looked great!

Came today with me girlfriend. We ate at the bar and the food was well made. I ordered her a double shot of Hennessey, towards the end of the meal she noticed a dead fly in her cup and also several flies around where we sat. I informed the bartender and she blankly stared at us and then said theres nothing she can do about it since she cant control flies getting into the establishment. Im a GM for a restuarant myself and I dont understand how hard it wouldve been to take her glass and pour 1 shot into a clean glass. We didnt need a refund, didnt need a discount, it was a fairly easy problem to solve. We didnt even care to argue with her, we just laughed and left after paying. Problem solving skills 0/10 needs better customer service

We stumbled upon Dirty Bones after our Katy Trail run and had only meant to cool down with a frosty cocktail. Then we figured no harm in ordering some wings as well before moving on and were impressed with how good they were. The bartender was super friendly and even threw in some complimentary tator tots. Definitely plan to come back for the wings in the future!
