PLEASE GO HERE!!! This place was the best food we’ve had in the city. Wait at 6:40ish was less than 10 minutes despite the place being super busy. You mark what you want on the slip of paper that staff then comes and checks over with you for allergens. We were slightly worried we had ordered too much, but the portions were sized perfectly! Not the usual American sizing where we have gotten used to way too much food for one meal. Split the scallion pancakes, Yibin noodles, veggie wontons, and chicken dumplings between two. WOW. Everything was incredible, but a special shoutout to the noodles for the incredible flavors in the sauce. We quite literally used the leftover sauce for our other foods. The wontons and dumplings were so juicy as well! Fun to have pancakes that were flakier than most. Insane plating and overall time. Wow. Want to go back already.

We were a large group that had just finished the dragon boat race, so we were so hungry and tired, and basically ordered most of the items on the menu! House Specials: We had Green Onion Pancake, Spicy Beef Pancake Roll, Pan-Fried Chive Dumplings, Braised Pig Ears, and Spicy Beef Shank. The green onion pancake was not greasy, but flavor-wise, it tasted a bit plain. The pan-fried chive dumplings tasted good, but their fried egg mixed with chives was mushy, which made the texture slightly off. The pig ear and beef shank were both really good. I would recommend these two as appetizers. Soup dumplings: We got pork XLB, pork & crab meat XLB, and chicken XLB, all of them were tasty, I do wish they had more soup inside though. Dumplings: We had chicken, pork & shrimp potstickers, and chicken steamed dumplings. The potstickers were alright, I would say the steamed dumplings tasted just ok. Wontons: The pork wontons in chili sauce, which taste really good with a nice spicy kick! And we had sweet and sour cucumber as the palate cleanser to freshen up our palate. Noodles: We tried hot & sour glass noodles, dan dan noodles, green onion soy sauce noodles, yibin noodles, and spicy mala noodles. I would recommend Yibin noodles, which are flavorful and spicy. The dan dan noodles tasted great too!

We tried several dishes at Dough Zone, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The Sweet & Sour Cucumber was hands down my favorite—crunchy, fresh, and the perfect way to start the meal. The Vegetable Potstickers were okay, not the standout of the evening but still decent. The Pan Fried Pork Buns were perfectly steamed and had a great balance of flavor. I also loved the Green Onion Pancake—crispy, flaky, and delicious. We ended our dinner with the Dan Dan Noodles, which were absolutely perfect—warm, comforting, and flavorful, tying the whole experience together beautifully. Despite the restaurant being jam-packed due to an event at the convention center, the food was impressively fresh and flavorful. The service was fast, the staff was polite and attentive, and the prices were super reasonable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

I had a very good time at Dough Zone! It’s very popular, so I waited about 20 minutes for a table (this was around 7 PM on a weeknight). The staff was attentive and answered my questions. The food was fantastic! So good and quite unique. I can’t say enough about it. The restaurant is well-appointed and is a great place to relax. It’s also located in a high-traffic entertainment area, just steps from the Paramount Theater. A very enjoyable and memorable experience—I highly recommend it!

I enjoyed the experience. but service does lack. every table has soy, vinegar, and chili sauce. we ordered veggie steamed dumplings, and pork and shrimp dumplings. I also order flavored noodles with cucumber and carrots on top. and banana Naan. wasn't bad, but they should offer more sauces for dumplings. both sets of dumplings don't have too m8ch flavor, and soy did the job for me, but I would have liked a little more variety. veggies were fresh. my wife ordered the beef noolemsoup. we did enjoy the food, but it didn't rise to anything above average. It's a small space, and they often ask folks if they are willing to share a table with people you don't know. I heard them ask 3 different couples while in line. so no real private conversation. the banana Naan is not really the Indian term you come to know. it's more like banana pancakes you dip in whip cream.
