The family-owned aspect and the personal touch by the father-daughter owners enhance the welcoming vibe, making regulars feel safe and valued. On the other hand, some negative remarks focus on the service experience upon arrival, particularly the absence of a host or staff greeting guests at the door and the need for visitors to find their own seating, which can be inconvenient. A few reviews mention occasional challenges with audio or game availability, such as needing to request a particular pre-game show. I have been twice. The first time they didn’t even bring what I ordered out. The second time I thought I’d give them a chance. They have a “rib special” (do not recommend) on Thursdays. The waitress said she never tried them but they were “popular” It’s like they boil the ribs. They looked so bad that I couldn’t even try them. So far, the drinks are good (obviously) But the food is sub par at best,

Ten years ago my husband and I brought our friends and family to your restaurant. The food was very good and the servers were kind. Today my daughter was in the hospital having a mild procedure and the hospital kitchen was closed. She asked me for fried zucchini and I automatically went to Duke's. What a mistake. The zucchini was overcooked and the oil was old. I ordered fish and a side salad and they placed both items in the same container. The salad was ruined and the fish tasted like burnt oil. The barmaid seemed nice but she really didn't care. I left a tip because I'm a kind person but when I returned to my daughter's room I was ashamed of the food I brought. I will never go there unless I am invited by friends, but I will tell them anyplace else is better.

It's very spacious, but that's where it ends. The service was horrible, usually had to find the waitress because she wasn't around. There's nothing special about the food. There's no Juke Box or TouchTunes. Found out from a waitress that the owner plays recorded song lists, and this past Friday was playing the most god awful music you can imagine, and just kept playing it and playing it. I guarantee in that mostly 40 and over crowd, everyone agreed. I politely asked him to change the music up a bit, but he wasn't going to budge, not even for 2 paying customers, likely because he's very old and doesn't listen to anybody. Best sports bar? Yeah, ok. I've spent good $$ there because there's always an available pool table, even on Friday nights. but that's the only reason. Will not be going back, which is unfortunate because I enjoy playing pool in a spacious area.

Typical dive/sports bar. Food was good but don't know if that is why I would go back. I would recommend the mozzarella sticks, they were huge. Had a steak salad but felt they were skimpy on the veggies of the salad of all things. Convenient place to meet friends for a quick drink and bite but nothing special to bring me back.

Good food. Good outdoor view of people playing disc golf. Nice homey bar! Waitress was nice but a little forgetful on details, like giving us water and napkins. Otherwise good overall!
