I’ve been taking ceramics classes here for a semester, and it’s been such a wonderful experience. The owner and everyone I’ve met here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My teacher, Jess, is not only patient and creative but also brings a great sense of humor to every class, which makes learning so much more enjoyable. Another instructor, Rong, though not my teacher, has over 20 years of experience and is truly amazing to watch, she makes clay feel almost magical. She’s always kind and often takes the time to offer helpful guidance, even though I’m not in her class. The atmosphere here is relaxed, fun, and supportive. Students are encouraged to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore the art of ceramics together. It’s a place where creativity flows freely and interesting pieces are made with both skill and joy. Check more cases on instagram@dusty.co.ceramic. Highly recommend!

Came to this newly opened ceramic studio and had a wheel try-out class. What a cute studio with the bright color walls! It was also super spacious even with exhibitions of cute ceramics. The teacher and staffs/owner were very welcoming too! As a first timer trying out wheel, it was amazing to watch the clay in the teacher’s hands- a totally different story in mine haha 😂. She was very patient and showed me on my wheel a couple of times as I was breaking the clay. Kinda getting the rhythm by the end of the class 😃 I loved the experience and this studio. Highly recommended!

I’ll start with the good things bc i’m really trying not to be upset but I went to the matcha bowl class and the matcha was yummy and the bowl making was super fun. I ended up taking the bowl home recently and immediately i noticed the glaze was super cracked, the black paint had smudged a lot ruining the design a bit and that there was a crack on the side of my matcha bowl. For $100 I would generally expect my bowl not to crack, the paint not to smudge and the glaze also not to be cracked. I will say, making matcha in this bowl feels really nice so i love the shape, I just really wish mine didn’t get so messed up during the kilning process they do. I also took pictures before I left so Im sure im not the one who smudged the paint, especially since it’s also only the black paint. Again, the experience was lovely but I can’t say they treated my bowl very well.
