My family are leaving the EavesCreekside after living here for the past 4 years and we will miss this community! We've moved around quite a bit and have always had great experiences with apartment management but I would say that the management here is stellar. Allison has been such a strong presence and I believe why so many tenants are satisfied with their stay here. She is compassionate and responsive which has made living here so pleasant. Other things that we love about living at eaves is that there are so many great sites within walking distance such as the library, downtown MTV, farmer's market and Steven's Creek Trail which leads to a few playgrounds- great for kids! Some things to keep in mind is that we have had some packages stolen. Management has done a great job of putting up signs and I've seen someone in maintenance lugging huge boxes to deliver some of the packages. Additionally walls are really thin but we haven't really had any noise issues from our neighbors.

I recently moved in to Eaves Creekside apartment and it has been a great experience living here. My move-in was smooth. Here, staffs are super helpful, it is very easy to request maintenance help, the apartment is close to Castro street with a lots of restaurants, the area is walkable and the neighborhood is safe, Caltrain is 5 minutes walk, and the apartment community is so clean.

My family and I lived here for 2.5 years and it was a great experience. The move in process was easy and throughout our time here, Allison, the Community Manger, and the maintenance staff have been exceptional. The amenities are super great, the pools, basketball court, tennis court, and gym were so great to have access to. The location is amazing with walking distance to downtown and Steven’s Creek Trail. There is no AC so recommend a portable unit and you can always take a dip in the pool during the hot months. For the most part things were quiet and we had wonderful neighbors. Early on we had some instances of theft, my bike was stolen from the outside rack but I was able to get a bike locker on site, and the catalytic converter was stolen from our vehicle parked outside the complex on the street but we never had issues inside the complex. So just be sure things are locked and secured. Overall, an excellent experience, would highly recommend.

*If you want to stay somewhere more than 1 year, look elsewhere, or else you will overpay significantly after the first year* I lived here two years. Signed in either july or august of 2022. Initial rent was 2640 before utilities etc (those typically add about 150-200) The second year, 2640 went to 2772 (so exactly a 5% increase, i.e. the maximum legal limit for the jurisdiction). The third year, they tried to increase it again to 2870ish (somewhere between 3-4%). Which is a ripoff, so I'm going somewhere else Keep in mind, while they were raising my rents, they were offering units similar to my unit for the price I was paying the first year. They realize that moving is a PITA and will try to screw you. For your deposit, they pressure you to buy a $185 "clean sweep program" Also, there were lots of bugs in my unit. My current apartment at a different complex has way fewer Currently they're holding half of my deposit ($375) and when I asked them about it, the apartment management just threw a customer support number at me Update: they pretended to not know about the 375 but eventually sent it back after some back and forth. The apartment manager actually called me up and tried hassling me when I was at work to get rid of this review. When I initially signed the lease they bragged about having a "high google review rating". These guys suck, look elsewhere

I’ve called this place home for the past three years, and overall, it’s been a positive experience. Allison and the maintenance staff are fantastic - always friendly and incredibly responsive to any issues. The location is excellent, especially with the popular Stevens Creek Trail right nearby. It’s also super convenient to the Caltrain station and downtown Mountain View. Besides, the community is pet-friendly with a dog park and a pet spa available. There are also nice amenities, including a gym, swimming pools, and tennis court, etc. That said, there are a few downsides. The apartment walls are quite thin, so soundproofing isn’t great, and without AC, summers can get very hot and uncomfortable. We also had a situation with a former neighbor who repeatedly blamed us for noise and smoking, even though none of us are smokers and we always respected the quiet hours. In terms of safety, I generally felt secure in the community and the surrounding Mountain View neighborhood. However, I did have my bike stolen from the community rack (even though it was locked), and my roommate’s car was broken into a few times when it wasn’t locked. So, I would recommend being cautious and making sure to lock up your belongings. Overall, it’s been a good place to live, with some minor challenges, but the positives certainly stand out. I would definitely consider staying in one of Avalon’s properties again in the future.
