I’ve come to Eden Hill Winery twice now and I hope to make it three times when I’m back in Dallas in August. It’s interesting to think great wines come from Texas especially since I live near Napa and Sonoma and those areas produce some of the world’s greatest wines (no offense to France or Italy). But I need to give Eden Wines credit for creating a great experience coupled with excellent wines in Dallas. I didn’t care for every wine they served in the flights but most were outstanding. The service is excellent here and I loved how knowledgeable everyone is about wines and how to grow grapes in this region. I was here with a large group, which was easily accommodated. Myself and my 4 month old daughter went to our first book club meeting on Sunday. Only one member showed up but it didnt matter. The wine server was attentive and friendly. I probably didn’t have a glass I didn’t like. The cheese plate was pleasant and price points are well thought out. I walked out with two bottles and so many new friends. The atmosphere felt small town more than downtown Dallas and cultivates fun conversation and connection.
