This is a decent well maintained park with some playgrounds and fields near the Ensign Peak trail. The park is also good for snow play in the winter on the baseball field

We went specifically looking for a playground and it was very lackluster. My kids are 5 & 7 and were asking to leave just 10 minutes in. I see there are a lot of amenities, so I won't rate it too low. But the playground is a hard pass

There's a playground with swings for bigger kids but none of the ones for smaller children. No restrooms. There's a water fountain and tennis courts. It's right near the Ensign Peak Trailhead. No restrooms there either.

It was so beautiful once you got to the top. Not a long hike, but a steep one. With little to no shade you would want to do it early or later but it is worth the view.
