We did the Curse of Anubis escape room and it was seriously SO fun! It wasn't crazy hard, but wasn't easy at the same time. I went with my immediate family (5 of us total) and it was a good amount of people. Enough to get things done quickly, but not too many where people were just standing around. The staff was also SO friendly! Definitely want to come back in the future!

After a post-nap recharge, my boyfriend and I were ready for our tradition: tackling a local escape room while traveling. I had already scoped out Escape on 13th before our trip and was excited when we snagged a 9:40 PM spot for the Species Unknown room after dinner. The location itself is super cool—right next to an awesome haunted house, which immediately set the tone. We were warmly greeted, watched the intro videos as usual, and were introduced to our game master, who let us know Zeera would be available to help us through the mission. Of course, we had no intention of needing her. As always, we started out as a team… and then went rogue—doing what we do best. One particularly fun moment was solving a puzzle with the chyper ring I happened to be wearing. If there was a clue with the code we didn’t need or find it😅 There was one puzzle we’d never seen before, which is always exciting for seasoned escape room players. We wrapped up the room with 7 minutes to spare. Another one conquered! Overall, this was a great experience—fun room design, creative puzzles, and just the right level of challenge. Highly recommend if you’re in town and looking for a fun, immersive experience.
