I was here for the Portland Tea Festival, a one day event held in this garden. The grounds were lovely and the perfect place for the tea festival. The festival itself was housed mainly in a large tent with grass beneath. Another feature of the festival was a demonstration by a T'ai Chi studio. This was done in a grassy area just off the main tent. The festival also had classes held either in other tented areas or inside actual classrooms from the adjacent Lewis and Clark College. All in all, I felt that this was an excellent venue for hosting the tea festival: beautiful and serene with ample space for vendors, classes, demonstrations, and ample parking. (One that last point, I parked my bicycle very nearby the tea festival, but my understanding is that none of the attendees had trouble finding parking somewhere on the fairly large college campus).
