The roses were very pretty! And watching different birds land butterflies fly around was fun. The plots could be better kept, and there was group of kids on bikes vaping and bringing a worse vibe to a usually tranquil area. Plus the fountain wasn’t working 😞 but it was very pretty, and definitely a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Totally recommend!

Beautiful rose garden. Very well maintained, clean, and filled with stunning varieties of roses. The central fountain is spotless and gorgeous. Perfect spot for a family day. The lawn is perfectly manicured, and there are plenty of shaded areas with seating. We visited for Mother’s Day, right after a trip to the Natural History Museum. Highly recommended. We parked nearby and, just a 3-minute walk after the museum visit, enjoyed a lovely stroll through the rose garden before heading back to the car.

Beautiful roses. Nice fountain in the center. A couple of small gazebos with shades but it's mostly open space in direct sunlight. No bathrooms that I saw. We brought a picnic, but ate it at the tables just outside the rose gardens

Quite impressive with well tended rose beds on a large ground, perhaps the largest rose garden in California. The water fountain was turned off at 6 PM, I think, when I visited. Free to enter. There are museums on one side.
