I have to echo the BIGOTRY claims here. I was barely in the door when the guy asked me to leave my (camera) bag by the door. Obviously this made me very uncomfortable as anyone could take off with it. So I had one eye on the whole time and I would lookup to see the owner had eyes on me. Why? There were many others in the store. When I saw a young white girl with her purse, I grabbed my bag from where it was and continued shopping. I can tell they didn’t like that but obviously they feared confrontation on their archaic policy. It’s a shame because every record store person I have ever met has been cool. These guys ain’t it. Found some cool bootlegs but they didn’t have one release I was looking for and my list was long.

Great record store! Excellent selection of LPs from every "era" and genre. We purchased rock, folk, and blues LPs plus a Stevie Nicks poster for our granddaughter and a 60's concert poster for us. Folks were friendly and knowledgeable. We'll return when we are back on town.

Being me

Me and my Uncles have supported this business for the past 35 YEARS now. We have bought up his entire Prince section and anytime that I've dealt with Andy, he has made ignorant remarks towards my music collection by saying" thrift store at best" and hanging up the phone whenever he put me on hold to check for albums. I made a visit to pick up a maxi single 12" that I had on hold and was told by Mark to leave my backpack up front even though there was no visible sign for caution. Andy has a serious BIGOTRY complex and it seems like Mark isn't too far from his mentality. No matter how much I've supported and spent all of my hard earned money over the years, they won't let go of their BIGOTRY and just focused on a mindset of " just buy the albums and go". I wouldn't be surprised if I am talked about behind closed doors with RACIST remarks made and saying how weird that I look coming in there wearing a Prince T-shirt. My last straw was calling them for posters and I was rushed off the phone and hung up on in flight mode . Mark tried to gaslight the incident by saying that he didn't hear me and it has happened several times. Not to mention the times that I've called for parking and they have let my calls go straight to voicemail but answer other calls inside the store. These owners have a serious issue with BIGOTRY in their establishment and don't deserve any awards nor recognition of service for their profiling and Republican policies towards minorities. Before they make any excuses or shift the blame back on people that have given them bad reviews, we won't be coming back with our dollars and they can stay the way that they were taught.

I was here earlier today, huge store with lots of cds & vinyls. The only thing I would change is if they grouped the new arrivals, $3 cds, & the other cds by genre. Bc I was looking for mainly r&b but the r&b was mixed with rock & pop & different years & all over the store, plus the bargain stuff. They had excellent prices too.

Curious place. Very good selection that is well-organized. A wide variety of Jazz, Rock, Pop, R&B, New Wave, Alternative, and everything in between. Pricing was generally on point with Discogs median, if not a bit high on a few records. Some records that I brought up, though, were repriced with a sticker on top of the old one. A bit peculiar.
