I was heartbroken when my son (11 yrs)walked off the vessel named the Liberty . I mentioned to my youngest daughter (9) beforehand, that we would be able to tell how the fishing was by his demeanor. At first glance my thoughts were of a grim nature, as my inquiry after talking to my son painted the picture, I had to nod my head. We are going backwards to a time that I believed were gone. I am working on turning 68, I started having kids late in life. In the sixties, minorities were not allowed in higher education, far much less present. He told me that fishing was plentiful, as for himself, he said that specifically at the worst moment of the full day trip he had hooked a good sized tuna, as did the older gentleman next to him. A member of the crew reached over my son to dagger the other man's tuna, and in my son's words "purposely" cut his line. No sorry, no concern, totally ignored the fact of what had just happened. I tried to let my son experience a passion that runs deep in his veins "fishing". I talked to a cashier at the front desk and his sediment was 'that's fishing". My son said he was totally ignored as was other identifiable segments of the party. He said it was a good Ole boys fishing trip. My hope is that the crew member doesn't get a promotion. THIS IS A SITUATION THAT ONLY AN OLD MAN THAT TIME WITH IS FLEEING WITH HIS YOUNG SON WOULD UNDERSTAND! The good I would want to come out of this would be when I say goodbye to my son he is authentic in not being of that nature. Grieving father!

Pretty much the entire staff seemed annoyed to be working. I felt like we were all an inconvenience to put up with. Noah however was fantastic. Good food & super kind service. The trip itself was just barely outside the harbor & they didn’t seem to care if we were on fish or not. They did tell us we might have some luck if we moved around the boat. I honestly don’t care if we caught fish, but overall the experience was very disappointing due to the staff.
