I don’t get a chance to take a ferry very often so I’ll be honest, I’m excited easily. The Capt was very polite and the first mate too. The boat was clean and quiet. The view from the top deck is wonderful I highly recommend it. One way fares are very cheap $7. Ride it for fun 😉⛴️

This is one of those spots that always looks beautiful, no matter the time of day! Try to go around sunrise or sunset for the best lighting. It's also nice because you can find parking during the week and it's pretty quiet.

A photo client decided to do his Navy reenlistment ceremony here. He really wanted the ferry landing sign as a backdrop but was not practical given guests needing to enter and exit ferry. We made it work at the end of the peir and photos turned out great! Lots of space down where people fish. Would recommend this location for family photos and to get the San Diego skyline in the background.
