I had the best time here!! OMG maintained a friendly and helpful attitude while juggling many customers during an unexpected rush. I needed new skates for roller derby and they helped pick the right skate for my foot, which is exactly why I chose to travel from Seattle to visit this shop! I was just so amazed by how I felt taken care of, without being rushed. I felt like even though they were busy, there was still time for me. Thank you!! Oh and the prices are very reasonable!!

Stopped in today to buy some new skates and Drew was extremely helpful. Not only with figuring out the skate that would be best for me, but also helping me style it!🌈 Once the skate was sorted, Drew also helped me change out the wheels and laces, showing me how to properly switch out the hardware. Was patient, answered all my questions, and super nice. Definitely will be back for my skating needs. Appreciate you Drew!💚🤘

This is such a cool shop. If you need anything roller skating related- make this your first stop! They can order things for you if the size isn't right or you need something more specific. The service was great, the staff is knowledgeable, and their location makes it convenient to stop by most any day. I am excited to go back and buy some wheels!!! Their store is small but full of great items and it's neat and organized. Stop by then head over to Oaks!

I'm so impressed with this shop. A few months ago, I decided to give skating a try, and the staff showed me several styles in different price ranges, providing me with the pros and cons of each. I never felt like I was being upsold or pressured to buy something I didn't need or couldn't handle. Yesterday, I brought the skates I bought into the shop because they still felt stiff around my ankles. Not only did the owner keep my skates overnight to "work their magic" on them, but when I came in to pick them up, they explained why I didn't need to lace them so high or so tight. As a beginner, I appreciate receiving advice from someone who is clearly very experienced but who also genuinely wants to help novice skaters like me improve. (Admittedly, I won't be doing any sophisticated moves out on the floor, but at least my ankles won't hurt anymore!!).

Five stride is amazing! They set me up with my dream skates and I’m so stoked about them. Their customer service is incredible, they are so patient and knowledgeable. Way better than ordering online, they’ll make sure you get the skates that fit the type of skating you want to do AND make sure your boots fit properly.
