FLC is my favorite skating rink in Phoenix. Centrally located in the NPHX Baptist Church and in the same building as a wood floor gym and upstairs fitness center, this little rink has a simple waiver process, very convenient morning and evening sessions, brand new rentals, decent music, and a wonderful old school parquet wood floor that caters to hard wheeled roller skates that shuffle, dance, and slide! I wish the cafe in the church was open more often and that the floor was larger at times, but 6 out 7 days of the week this is a great roller rink and spot for beginners to practice their moves!

This place needs a renovation asap. old equipment and strange machines. no fly machine or stairmaster. also extremely crowded during peak times because of how small the area is and all the machines are very close to each other. though on the plus side there are plenty of plates and they did add a new room with new machines, albeit they are a little bit limited. I know this place has a lot of old people who need machines but it’s kinda annoying. some machines feel so outdated and obscure. for example the deadlift machine. in all this gym just feels like the bare minimum

Love this place it's perfect for beginner roller skating or young at heart skaters. It currently cost $5.00 and includes skates. You can bring water in your canteen but that's it.

Came for a birthday party. I had no idea it was so close and so affordable. Great option to get out of the heat. It is part of a church but anyone is welcome to come and skate during open hours.
