Certainly! He I had been wanting to visit this temple for a while, and I finally got the chance to stop by on a Sunday. This place is truly a hidden gem in Austin! From the moment I arrived, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was fortunate to join a free guided tour where the guide shared the rich cultures of Buddhism and even drew meaningful parallels to Indian traditions, which I found fascinating. There’s also a small gift shop and a cozy tea room on site. To my pleasant surprise, they offered a complimentary vegetarian lunch.Everyone I met was incredibly kind and hospitable. If you’re looking for a quiet place for meditation or just a peaceful retreat, this temple is perfect. They also offer various programs, and the full schedule is available on their website. I highly recommend visiting!

I love meditation sessions on Saturdays. It provides 20 minutes of body movements with breathing, 20 minutes of sitting meditation followed by group sharing of experiences. There are Tai Chi and Dharma teaching, yoga, book club as well. You can spend all day and they are very welcoming.

Even if you're not Buddhist, it's a beautiful place worth checking out! Recently they put on an event for Chinese New Year and the festivities were quite wonderful. They also put on events throughout the week like tea ceremonies or meditation, which, if you haven't been to a proper meditation workshop I recommend the ones here because they're well paced and have variety.

She volunteered to be our tour guide and showed us around the temple and its history. They also hold a lot of celebrations, meditations throughout the year so if I have chances to come back, Id love to join them. Tea room offers vegetarian meals too. Buddha opens his arms for every one, so if you are interested in a nice, calming place, just check it out as a sightseeing place
