Ted helped me locate a pistol case he didn't have in stock and had it shipped to his shop in 2 days. He went above and beyond for me. The shop is super clean and puts out extremely nice builds. I highly recommend Four Peaks Tactical. Thank you!

Buyer beware! Out of spec AR lowers. My brother and I each purchased a Four Peaks 4P-15B AR stripped lower at their booth at a gun show. After getting them back home and checking them for spec: 1. Both lowers had too tight of a magazine well (Magpul and Lancer mags wouldn't drop free - had to pull them out). 2. My lower wouldn't mate with several upper receivers (rear opening on the lower was too narrow, by just a fraction of an inch). My brother's lower did fit the uppers. 3. Both lowers would not work with either standard end plates or QD end plates for the buffer tube. The rear round hole (that takes the end plate protrusion) was too small. The lowers had several features that we liked, such as a bolt catch screw, rear take down pin spring screw, it looked great, ambidextrous, and had finger rests. Too bad they were out of spec. Could have made for a great build. We took both lowers to their booth the next day and were able to get a refund, so giving two stars instead of one. Would have given three stars if Kent hadn't tried to convince us to fix the issues our selves (make the holes bigger, ruining the anodizing, etc.). He also tried to convince us that the mags don't need to drop free because they don't in the military, which is why "they fit their mags with grips" (my brother and I, avid firearm users, called B.S. - every lower we have ever tried drops the mag on release, for a quick reload). I think Kent didn't want us causing a scene at his booth so he bought the lowers back. Still, a bit of a hassle. You would think that they would dial in their specs, you know, because they are "veteran owned". Given some negative BBB reviews, and other lower star ratings on a few review sites, I suspect that it would have been harder to get our money back had we purchased online or in store. Could be wrong, but we think being at a public show helped get our money back.
