Here's what people think of Francisco Studios

As of recent, Francisco Studios holds a 4.3-star rating based on 34 reviews.

Users generally appreciate Francisco Studios for its spacious, secure, and well-maintained rehearsal environments, praising the accessibility and flexibility of month-to-month rentals that accommodate a variety of musician needs. Positive reviews highlight the large number of available studios, efficient booking, and a friendly atmosphere that encourages musicians to focus on their art. Many musicians value the privacy and sound-proofing of the rehearsal spaces, which support undisturbed practice sessions and storage for equipment. Additionally, the historic legacy since 1976 and family-run business ethos contribute to a sense of community and trust. However, some negative feedback centers on practical concerns such as the lack of air conditioning in certain locations, which can be uncomfortable during warmer days, especially given the heat generated by multiple amplifiers and people. Some reviewers also mention the industrial surroundings, which, while offering plenty of parking and security, may feel less inviting aesthetically. Despite these criticisms, users recognize the company's commitment to facilitating musicians' needs through flexible booking and affordable prices. In conclusion, Francisco Studios is widely regarded as a dependable and essential resource for musicians needing dedicated rehearsal space, with overwhelmingly positive support tempered only by minor facility-related complaints.

My previous review: Typically cool spacious practice studios. Communal bathroom stays clean… well maintained buildings. Great place to rehearse… Until your exhaust fan doesn’t work and they refuse to fix it. On the agreed upon deadline day(not the day after) to move out we were locked out of our room and were threatened by management (Beck) for no reason. Beck refused to open the door until a picture of an angle grinder next to their lock was sent and a refusal to leave was given after the threat of calling the police was welcomed.

Currently renting a 15×20' room for music practice. Reasonable monthly rates, and clean, well lit bathrooms. This place is perfect for turning your amp to 11.

Guy who runs the spot is some weirdo who doesn’t want you to record or work on any of the music you’re supposed to be “practicing” in this space. When going to rent from him he will ask you a litany of questions about who you are and what you plan to do. “Play as loud as you want, for as long as you want” only applies if you fit the schedule he is ok with. He said he just wants people to come and practice and leave in three hours and doesn’t want “traffic”, god forbid you work with other artists. If you want to work on your music or record it’s a problem and as he said “that’s not fair to the other tenants”. The internet connection is around 10 mbps and can barely connect, when inquiring about speeds he holds up some speed test site and exclaims that it’s usually better and that he doesn’t know what’s wrong. If you’re not in a four piece dad rock group don’t even bother. He doesn’t want hip hop, latin, or other genres, and I’m sure you can deduce what that actually means.

Affordable practice spaces that you can access 24 hours a day. If your neighbors aren't enjoying your garage band you can find a spot here!
