Fremont Bowl

Why Fremont Bowl is a fun option when searching for things to do near me with friends and family
Fremont Bowl stands out as a popular Japanese casual dining destination in Seattle, highly rated for its generous, affordable donburi bowls and vibrant atmosphere. The reasonably priced menu—all items generally under $15—ensures great value, inviting repeat visits. Fish in the chirashi bowl was very fresh and had solid portions. Good amount of wasabi and ginger as well! Not the biggest fan of the shrimp but everything else was solid. The mixed tonkotsu bowl was also a nice option for those that like variety. Was made to order and the meat was juicy and tender. Would have liked some cabbage on the side but otherwise quality and portion sizes were really good 😊

Semi self service style. It would be better to have more ordering machine. The bowl looks small but still come in decent amount. The fried pork coating is a bit damp. Chirashi is fine. I would recommend half rice half salad.

Huge portions! So delicious, a little hole in the wall kind of establishment. I had the Katsu, can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Fremont Bowl is my go-to spot for a poke fix. I think the freshness and quality of their fish (salmon specifically) can't be beat. It is simple yet elegant. While there may not be as much variety as some other places around Seattle in terms of toppings, I think it has all you need--fresh Salmon, scrumptious rice, and a delicious Yuzu sauce that makes everything taste better. My only wish was that it was a little less expensive. However, my wife insists that Fremont bowl isn't expensive, but just normal-priced. I suppose she is right, since raw fish is expensive no matter where you go. But for the occasional treat, there's no place else I'd rather go! One note: I've never dined in--only ever done takeout. So I cannot say anything about their atmosphere or service. However, the takeout has always been quick and the front-desk people friendly enough!

Good quality but too much rice. It would be good to have selection about rice portion to avoid food waste.
