I can’t say enough good things about this place!! First of all it’s our only current Fabric shop in San Diego, but I love this because I feel like I’ve found a sewing friend with the owner, Jacqui! Second, not only does she have amazing fabrics of all kinds, she offers plenty of notions, patches, embroidery kits and more! If you’re in San Diego or a tourist who loves to sew do yourself a favor and check them out! You’re sure to find something fun and unique!!

First time in the store, looking for quality fabrics and notions. I found some very nice linens and Merchant and Mills Ikat which is what I was looking for. I'm don't live in San Diego, and there aren't any fabric stores that focus on garment rather than quilting in the central part of California, where I live so this was a real treat. The owner was very friendly, her daughter was in the next room chatting playfully. Between the great product shopping and the friendly atmosphere, I was glad to have fit this little excursion into my trip. Will be back next time I'm in the area. Nice selection of fabrics, notions, threads, sewing gifts and independent patterns.

Fringe Fabrics was such a joy to visit! I fell in love with several fabrics there, and just need to figure out the projects I will be working on next, and how much of each fabric I will need. The owner is really helpful and was willing to go the extra mile to answer my questions. I will definitely be back!

So glad I found this lovely little apparel fabric shop. For such a tiny shop, selections are wide and all are great quality fabrics for clothing. This is NOT a Joann’s replacement; everything here is QUALITY, so the prices will reflect that, but if you buy fabrics for clothing on line, you’ll appreciate being able to actually touching before you buy, and seeing the patterns and colors that a screen just can’t replicate. They also carry all the “details” needed in sewing: interfacing, threads, needles, marking tools, etc. Let’s keep them in business!!

I was able to pick up to cuts of fabric for upcoming projects. The store is beautifully laid out, with the variety of fabric easy to browse. The notions and pattern options are also impressive for a new store. I will be adding Fringe Fabrics to my go to shop list!
