Love the City pass, I would buy it again in a second. I loved having a short list of things to do in and around San Diego at my finger tips. It would be helpful to have all the places on one map so I could more easily plan my day, but outside of that the variety is great, it is super easy to use, I never had any problems with the pass.

I did save money using GoCity while in San Diego. However, some things were not as great as they made it out to be - i.t. Belmont Park (nice, but nothing more than a tourist trap). There were plenty of things to use it on - spaced out over the entire area and when you factor in the time to actually see the attractions - there was no way to see everything we wanted in the time allowed by the passes (I purchase 4-day all inclusive) - for the nearly $600 I paid for the 2 passes, they should have lasted at least 5-days. I'll definitely go back to San Diego - however I won't be buying passes for there again.

This is a SCAM if you are not planning on going on consecutive days. When you purchase the GoCity pass it looks super easy to use. We went to Legoland one day. Took a day off to enjoy the beach and then tried to use the pass at SeaWorld. To our shock, it said the pass had expired. When I called customer service asking where their website mentions that these passes need to be used on consecutive days the agent told me to look at the FAQs section. It is the 24th frequently asked question and is 3rd from the bottom. Why would you go to this section for this information? It should be write on the pass when you try and purchase it.

Tried the GoCar tour, with classic car in San Diego, but it wasn’t for me. The vehicle was loud and stressful, and despite dressing warmly, I found it chilly. Being unfamiliar with the city, I struggled to stay on the GPS-guided route, which added to the stress. Fortunately, we chose the early bird option, so traffic was light. Overall, glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t do it again. This experience made me appreciate the comfort of my own car even more.

Some things in life are a bargain when they work out perfectly but when an issue arises, you find that saving a few bucks just is not worth the aggravation. We purchased an Essentials pass for four, and when we went to the attraction ticket booth to redeem and scan our QR code for admission, it did not come up for them. They had no record of our pass in their system, so they couldn't let us pass through. So, now time to begin the fruitless customer service path. Text to chat, then call, disconnected, then call again....with on-hold time, about 1-1/4 hours and to an agent in another country. Are we really supposed to hang out at the entrance to the attraction to go back and forth with the agent and let our vacation day tick away? Well, that's what you experience!! Be warned.
