The aesthetic and the drinks were delicious. Very well thought out design and cocktail mixing. The bartender was amazing and kept conversations with all the patrons. The only con I had was that the afternoon tea timeframe was not clear prior to placing a reservation. We had our reservation at 4:30 and figured we could have afternoon tea but found out that afternoon tea closes at 3 or 3:30. Regardless the service was wonderful, drinks delicious, and ambiance excellent

Came here prior to dinner for a quick cocktail. It’s supposed to be reservation only, but they were able to fit us in, because it wasn’t too busy. They highly suggest the signature cocktails there’s about 12 to choose from the cocktails are super unique. The bartender was very knowledgeable And helpful with the drink choices they have a couple complementary bar foods they serve with the drinks. Quiet and quaint little hidden bar and the heart of the city hidden inside the proper austin hotel. From 6-10am Goldie’s turns into a coffee bar! The coffee was absolutely delicious!

I went with two friends for High Tea at Goldie’s and we had a wonderful time! It is pretty pricey (~$100 per person for tea without the alcohol add-on after service charge and gratuity) but it’s great for special occasions. The food was delicious and they had a great selection of tea. We tried 5 different pots of tea and they asked us if we wanted refills on the food, which we declined because it was surprisingly filling. Not sure if there would have been an extra charge for refills on food but the tea seemed to be unlimited. The atmosphere is great! It’s a small cozy, fairly quiet room right off the busy lobby and on the corner of the busy downtown streets so it feels like a retreat from the hustle and bustle.

My sister surprised me with an afternoon tea at Goldie’s! From the moment the door was pushed open for me .. I was just mesmerized by the elegance of this Bar. It felt cozy, intimate, and exclusive. Our waiter Fedor (I hope I got his name correctly) was exceptional. He had this very gentle soft spoken and heartwarming attitude throughout the entire experience! He just fit the vibe perfectly at Goldie’s and we were so happy with his service. 10/10! I also wanted to thank him for accommodating my sisters raspberry allergy by giving her another jam to try on her scone. He didn’t have to do that and it made her feel special.
